The bizhub 225i supports teams with a flexible paper capacity that can be increased as required to a maximum of 1,350 sheets, avoiding loss of time due to frequent interruptions to restock paper. It is highly flexible, and different media can be placed in up to five different paper trays and sources. The device provides easy single-sided and duplex document printing as an optional feature.
The compact printer provides colour scanning as standard. It sends scans to a variety of destinations such as e-mail, FTP and SMB and also offers TWAIN scanning, so full network integration is available. With the standard scan-to-USB function, any last-minute document or presentation requirement can easily be met by scanning the information straight from the bizhub 225i to a USB stick. For convenient copy and scan jobs, the bizhub 225i can also be equipped with an optional duplex document feeder. This scans originals at speeds of up to 55 ipm and processes double-sided documents automatically.
Thanks to its environmental design and the integrated Simitri HD toner with biomass, the bizhub 225i meets the highest eco standards. It is certified with the voluntary Blue Angel mark in Germany and the TEC value would fulfil the new Energy Star 3.0 criteria.

ID copy
Any small documents such as employee ID or driver license, its front and back side can be output into one sheet of paper. The readable range is up to A5 size.
More than one card can be placed (up to A5), as long as the originals are placed within the glass platen.
Press the ID Copy button on the operation panel to access this feature directly. Benefits: Saves Time, Space, Money + Environment.
N-up print
Multi-page documents can be printed on one sheet:
• 2-in-1 => prints 2 pages on 1 sheet;
• 4-in-1 => prints 4 pages on 1 sheet. Benefits: same as ID Copy
Duplex copy
Variety of duplex copy methods to fulfill different purposes.
A.- 1-sided → 2-sided*1 : Automatic double-sided copying.
B.- 2-sided → 1-sided*2 : A double-sided document can be copied into 2 pages with 1-sided each.
C.- 2-sided → 2-sided*3 : Automatically copy double-sided document to one sheet of paper.

Colour scan
Colour documents can be digitised into colour files. Fast colour scan at 20ppm (150dpi)*1, never slows work down. The supported scan file formats are TIFF, PDF, and JPEG.
*1- This is the speed when equipped with the Reverse Automatic Document feeder DF-633.
Select the destination for the scanned data
The scanned files can be saved directly to USB memory, or sent to different destination such as E-mail*1, SMB*1 or FTP*1. The supported scan formats are TIFF, PDF and JPEG.

Toner loop mechanism
With the Konica Minolta's own Toner Loop Mechanism technology, there will be no more waste toner.
